Only you can prevent Forrest fires.

I love helping people. Besides acting, it's the only thing I'm good at. Last year, I did about 200 hours of service. I absolutely love it. It's such a big part of my life and even after doing it for so long, I still don't feel like a good person. I try pretty hard to not be a terrible person. I have said mean things about people, but I never judge someone without getting to know them and it's almost always personality based. I don't like that some people don't like me. I know it's part of life, and you can't please everyone, but if still sucks and hurts a little. Out of all my insecurities, my fear of being disliked is the most prevalent. It's why it's so hard for me to make friends. I always feel like people feel like they are doing me a favor by talking to me. That's when I get into my bitchy moods. When I have a mood swing where I think everyone hates me. C'est la vie.

Do you?

It's an interesting thing, coming to school and hearing about how much of a slut everyone thinks you were being the previous weekend. It's crazy how fast word travels and how misconstrued everything can become. It's like in elementary school, when we all played telephone. Except now, it isn't just a random sentence. It's a rumor.

Let me make it clear. I DID NOT MAKE OUT WITH 5 GUYS ON SATURDAY NIGHT. I realize that I have a following of about 3, but it needed to be said. Granted, I made some bad decisions that night, but come on now. I would own up to the truth. That's the funny thing about people spreading rumors about me. If someone came up to me, and actually asked me about what happened, I would tell them. I am never ashamed of what I do, because I'm only human.

It's also interesting when you are what people are talking about all day. That sounds weird. But its actually happened a few times. When I lost my virginity, you would've thought I had shot the president. I get that teenagers are dumb and look for anything to talk about. I just think its funny.

OH. And if Maddie Crimmins or Sarah is reading this: hello.

bleeding love

When people meet me, they figure I'm one of those girls. You know the type. The ones who pine for a boyfriend, watch Romantic Comedies, live for Valentine's Day and just can't wait to say those three words to someone. "I love you."
Not that there is anything wrong with that type of person, but that's not me. I usually chalk it up to me just not understanding love but that's not really true. I just don't believe in it. I see it as an intense infatuation that people over-exaggerate in their heads.
I don't like being this way. I'd much rather be the girl who knows her prince will come, but I don't. I'd like to not enter a relationship knowing that it's temporary, but I do. I wish I would just be love-brained like the rest of the world, but alas, I'm a cynic. Only for this though. Usually, I'm quite the optimist.
Most of  my friends know my phrase that sums my feelings up pretty well. I believe in leprechauns not love.
Sounds crazy right? well, its true. I full-heartedly believe in leprechauns. There isn't one bone in my body that thinks they are imaginary. I think that's just one of my quirks.
